Building Public

Safety Technologies

with Purpose

Bravado Engineering develops public safety technology designed to support clarity, awareness, and informed decision-making in real-world, high-pressure environments.

Our Mission

At Bravado Engineering, we build and deliver technology that transforms data into practical solutions—supporting those who protect, serve, and save others.

Our Approach

Building technology for public safety requires discipline, ethics, and a deep understanding of operational realities. Every system is shaped by the moments in which it will be used—where clarity, timing, and trust matter most.

Our approach is guided by three core principles:

Expansive desert landscape featuring numerous rolling sand dunes under a pale sky.

Data Driven to Improve Today and Tomorrow

2020 — The Spark!

  • Motivated by the need for better data-driven tools to address evolving societal and public safety challenges, founder Malik Little began exploring how science and engineering could help improve outcomes for individuals, organizations, and communities alike.

  • The original concept for HERO, focused on supporting law enforcement, emerged.

  • Early concept development began at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL).

2021 — From Concept to Company

  • Malik presented the fully defined HERO for law enforcement concept to JHU/APL leadership and filed a patent.

  • The concept was selected for the JHU/APL Archimedes Award, authorizing the technology spin-out.

  • Enigma Science and Technology, LLC was formed, and Malik left JHU/APL to focus full-time on advancing the mission.

2022–2023 — Discovery & R&D

  • Extensive customer discovery efforts validated the need for HERO in the public safety market.

  • Core technology research and development supported early product design and system architecture.

  • Feedback from practitioners directly informed product direction and requirements.

2024 — Rebranded & Ready to Build

  • Enigma Science and Technology, LLC transitioned to Bravado Engineering Corporation.

  • Focus shifted to engineering and building the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for public safety use.

  • Key leadership joins our Founder and President at the company:

    • Rob Auger, Chief Executive Officer

    • Orrin Gallop, Director of Business Development

    • Ali Diab, Director of Product Development

2025 — Validation & Public Launch

  • Patent Approved!

  • MVP testing expanded with continued refinements and operational validation.

  • HERO was officially unveiled to the public at the NOBLE 2025 International Conference in Hollywood, Florida.

2026 — Partnerships & Pilot Programs

  • Strategic partnership and pilot deployment launched with the Hampton, Virginia Sheriff’s Office.

  • Real-world operational trials initiated to support production readiness and scale.

  • And more to come!
